SHERA Splendid Plank achieves beautiful aesthetic grooves on building walls with the edged profile of shiplap siding. SHERA Splendid Plank is another version of lap siding with stand up the most demanding design. With SHERA Splendid Plank, ship-lapping installation is very simple and efficient. There are several designs of edge profiling available that not only provide innovative styles in for example home designs but also long lasting and less worry from humidity, heat, salt spray and flying debris. Primed planks can be coated before or after installation (double coating) with optional acrylic paint.

Framing and Fixing
Framing: SHERA Splendid Plank can be fixed to both timber frames (minimum size 1.5 x 3 inch) or steel frames (thickness between 0.55 and 1.6 mm). Framing must be selected to provide sufficient strength to support the SHERA Splendid Plank siding.
Fixing: SHERA Splendid Planks can be fastened with nails or screws. It can be nailed directly to timber supports with round wire nails. When using metal screws, the size and length of the screw will be dependent on thickness of the Plank and the gauge of framing. Pre-drilling the board is a must unless self-embedding, self-drilling head screws such as SHERA FIX-W32G8 are used.
