SHERA Decking Plank is an A1 rated fire resistant decking material suitable for exterior balcony applications that require a minimum fire A2 rating.

Fire Rating Requirements for Exterior Balconies

In the UK and an increasing number of European countries a minimum A2 fire rating is required for decking materials on all exterior wall balconies on buildings over 11m height in the UK. Popular materials such as wood plastic composite decking or any materials that are 'B' rated are not suitable. It's only a matter of time before this becomes regulation in all European countries.

SHERA Floor Plank is proving to be a popular product in Cyprus where it used for exterior hallway, exterior decking, patios and pool decking applications.

SHERA Planks comes in 25 or 30mm thickness and is available in pre-primed format should you wish to paint yourself, or pre-coloured and even 'colour through' formats.

Below you can see how the planks have been cut to include deck lighting, which further accentuates the wood look of the fibre cement decking.

SHERA Floor Plank is impervious to insects and is fire and water resistant, making it the perfect choice of materials for exterior decking.

SHERA Floor Plank installation can be done on a wooden or steel frame and also solid base. It can be easily cut to length/shaped using a normal diamond carbide electric saw.

The planks are then typically screwed into position and screw holes filled and painted to avoid water penetration.
