SHERA Boards have been used for the exterior wall in a seamless stucco look.

The wood coloured siding is the SHERA 'splendid plank' (shiplap style) in “Yellow Flame" edge profile with a Cassia wood grain surface texture.

The planks have been painted with a wood stain to give the beautiful wooden appearance you can see in the pictures.

Exterior Siding on Housing Using SHERA Deline Shiplap Plank

The Deline Plank shown is the DL – 12 profile with straight grain surface texture with a wood stain colour applied on site.

We think you will agree it looks fantastic and gives the house a superb modern look with a striking combination of exterior facade materials and colours.

SHERA Deline comes in a size of 10mm thickness by 220mm width and 3000mm length, giving that extra bit of strength over 8mm planks.

All sizes are available in either smooth or straight grain profile.

Deline planks are currently uncoloured but can be painted prior to installation or on site with any water based acrylic paint.

We like these images from our customer Eurocyd in Spain, an authorised SHERA Stockist based near Barcelona, who has supplied SHERA Plank to be used as exterior siding in a modular housing project in Spain.

The planks in this case were teak surface profile and were painted locally by Eurocyd in the colour of choice for the project.

The result is a striking and attractive exterior siding application material that gives a unique look to you modular home.

SHERA Exterior Siding in Popular Local Colours

Our partners in Spain, Eurocyd, sent us these images of an exterior housing siding project near Barcelona using SHERA Plank that has been painted in a blue colour which was specifically requested by the house owner.

The SHERA Planks were installed on OSB Boards. A waterproof membrane was installed between the OSB Board and the siding.

Although SHERA Planks come in a range of colours it may be the case that local tastes, or even personal preferences demand that they be painted locally.

In this case the planks were ordered in uncoloured format and painted in the distinctive blue colour above by our stockists, Eurocyd, who supplied the project.

The siding was 170 m2 and took about 3 months to build from scratch.

SHERA Plank come in uncoloured and coloured formats, which means you can get uncoloured format and paint to local tastes prior to installation.

In this case the client opted for traditional wooden decking but it is useful to know that SHERA also offer SHERA Decking Plank, which is a perfect alternative: tough, long lasting yet beautiful, this floor plank is the perfect material for any kind of exterior decking application.

External Siding on Farmhouse in Spain

This reference project was for exterior siding done on a family home based in Catalonia, near Barcelona.

The building is a farmhouse and uses SHERA plank in a typical external siding application.

SHERA manufacture pre-painted planks in a varietry of colours, but in this instance the customer opted to use SHERA planks that were painted locally by our stockists, Eurocyd who are based near Barcelona.

The customer was very please with the projecxt and has since ordered another batch for other buildings!

In these images you can see how closely the Afromosia plank from SHERA resembles real wood planking, very popular all over Europe.

Below are a few snaps of a project using SHERA Plank as fibre cement siding for an application on an apartment building in Poland. In this case the planks were painted locally and the natural wood colour and wood grain texture really give the appearance of natural wood; we think you will agree the planks look pretty good.

We had the pleasure of visiting our partners BMC Danmark last month in Aalborg, Denmark, to discuss the strategy for further expanding the supply of SHERA products to the Scandinavian region including Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
