SHERA plank 'Grey Series' colours consist of a light, medium and dark grey coloured plank which can be used on any kind of exterior siding project to give a perfect modern look to your home or exterior cladding application..

Our shiplap plank in the Yellow Flame edged format, now comes in a straight grain surface profile and beech colour that gives a lovely, gentle wood like appearance for a modern exterior cladding application.

Traditional and Contemporary Looks for your Siding Application
SHERA siding planks come in a variety of styles and surface textures that give you the option to choose which aesthetic best suits your application needs. SHERA Planks have both traditional and modern/contemporary styles in the form of the traditional square cut/overlapping style; or a more modern/contemporary style using the splendid plank or the new 'Deline' range.

SHERA Plank comes in a square cut edge, overlapping style format, which is the perfect material for traditional siding applications on buildings such as homes, outhouses, churches, barns, farmhouses, decorative cladding and many more.
This plank comes in various surface textures too:
- Teak texture, which is a deep wood grain effect
- Cassia texture, a shallower, gentler wood effect
- Smooth, as it suggests, a smooth surface profile.
And the teak range come in various colours, our most popular being:
- Wood like apperance - Afromosia Brown, Walnut, Golden Sand Teak
- Modern Grey

SHERA Plank also has a shiplap and new 'Deline' range which gives any siding application a beautiful modern look. The shiplap style format comes in various edge profiles (see above) and the Deline range in various grooved formats (see Products page for details).
These planks are great for siding applications on high rise building facades, modern housing, restaurants, schools and more.
The shiplap/deline range comes in various surface textures too:
- Straight Grain texture, a delicate wood grain
- Smooth.
This range of siding planks is mostly in uncoloured format, although there are new colours being produced such as the Beech, straight grain, Yellow Flame shiplap plank and the shiplap and Deline ranges can be painted with any water based acrylic paint.

Framing and Fixing of Square Cut Planks
Framing:
SHERA Plank can be fixed to both timber frames (minimum size 1.5 x 3 inch) or steel frames (thickness between 0.55 and 1.6 mm). Framing must be selected to provide sufficient strength to support the SHERA Plank siding.
Fixing:
Planks can be fastened with both nails or screws. It can be nailed directly to timber supports with round wire nails. When using metal screws, the size and length of the screw will be dependent on the thickness of the plank and the gauge of framing. Pre-drilling the plank is a must unless self-embedding, self-drilling head screws such as SHERA FIX-W32G8 are preferred.
Installation


Installation:
Fasteners must be located more than 12 mm from plank edges and 20 mm from plank ends. When installing in an overlapping plank cladding style, plank installation must be started at the bottom of the frame. The subsequent row of planks should overlap previous row by at least 25 mm.
Tools:
No special tools are required. The product can be used with normal nails, fastened by normal or self-drilling screws and cut by electric power saw with diamond blade.

SHERA Plank is simple to handle and easy to install and is therefore suitable even for the Do-It-Yourself (DIY) segment. SHERA plank is a fibre cement siding and is fire resistant and classed as an A1 category material, also made in accordance to EN12467 standards.
SHERA Plank is also water resistant, insect and rot resistant and therefore requires very little maintenance. It is the perfect fiber cement siding for any house that needs a simple, yet durable cladding material. SHERA Plank comes in several sizes and textures to match your housing needs, making it easy to select your desired interior/exterior cladding materials.
It is also a perfect solution for cladding houses that face a constant threat from termites and water damage since it possesses excellent properties of pest resistance, impact strength and water/moisture resistance.
