    Wall Applications

SHERA Board is a fibre cement board impervious to water damage, making it a perfect building board for wet area wall applications.

SHERA Board for Use in Wet Area Applications

SHERA Board, due to its homogenous composition of wood cellulose fibres and Portland cement, is a self draining board that is impervious to water damage that normally afflicts other building boards such as gypsum, OSB and plywood.

Fibre cement is perfect for tiling as it provides a strong adhesion surface for tile glue and grout and has a high surface tension value allowing you to use a range of tile styles and weights.

Once installed the boards remain the perfect backer for any tiling/wet room system incorporating tiles or other veneer styles.

Water Sealing for Wet Area Board Connection Joints

    SHERA Cement Bonding Primer

Eliminates dust. Apply SHERA Cement bonding agent over the 3-5mm joint gap between the SHERA boards.

The bonding agent provides good bonding for the SHERA PU25 Sealant and SHERA boards and helps to seal the construction dust which might reduce the adhesion of the sealant.

Apply only once and leave for 10-20 minutes to dry.

    APPLY PU25 SEALANT

Gap 3- 5 mm between boards.

Cover the edge of the board with easily removable masking tape.

Fill the gap with sealant PU25 in an upward motion until it is completely full.

Immediately remove the masking tape after completing the sealant application.

    PU25 SEALANT

One component elastic polyurethane sealant, self-cured in contact with air and humidity, paintable.

    Usage: exterior, wet areas.
